Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Health and Safety Officer at IIQAF. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors in our organization. This includes implementing and enforcing safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and providing training programs to promote a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and maintain health and safety policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide Training Programs: Provide training programs to educate employees on proper safety protocols.
- Coordinate with Departments: Coordinate with various departments to ensure all safety requirements are being met.
- Advise Management: Advise management on health and safety issues, and recommend improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Certified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) designation is preferred.
- Proven experience in implementing health and safety programs.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
