Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Social and Influence Analyst to join our team at Wavemaker. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering meaningful reporting and insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain media reporting, including data collection and analysis to identify key trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and contribute to the development of new custom databases.
  • Assist in the strategy and development of data visualization layers for business intelligence platforms.
  • Help implement automated QA processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate change to achieve business goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of basic marketing principles, with experience in social media marketing a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting within Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience in data management, data visualization, and analytics, preferably in a marketing and/or media agency.
  • Strong speaking and written professional communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in trend analytics and insights.
  • Curious and excited to learn.
  • Collaborative with a partnership mindset.
