Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for motivating and coaching a team of Account Executives and Account Managers to exceed segment KPIs and ARR targets on a consistent basis. This role requires a strong leader who can drive sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement training programs to increase production.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach a team of Account Executives and Account Managers to exceed segment KPIs and ARR targets.
- Monitor sales team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support sales teams by assisting with deal negotiations, objection handling, and closing.
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with sales teams to discuss deal constructs, ensure proper account and lead follow-up, and accurate forecasting and staging.
- Identify areas of improvement within the sales team and suggest training programs to increase production.
- Be the first line of support for teams, answering questions and directing on best practices.
- Collaborate with the Director of the area to discuss sales strategies, review KPI performance, and refine processes and programs to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Small-Medium and/or Mid-Market space.
- Previous people management experience is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education experience is desirable.
- Experience collaborating with Partner businesses and Channel sales teams is desirable.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the IT, Security, or Cybersecurity industry is desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management and organization skills, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
