The procurement department seeks to position itself at the heart of operational excellence, providing commercial and strategic advice and support to stakeholders regarding pre-and post-contract management processes. This includes supporting the implementation of supplier management and sustainable procurement programmes, as well as providing commercial training to empower stakeholders and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- To provide robust management and tracking of risk control status for all key suppliers
- To develop supplier onboarding and in-life cycle risk management plans
- To collaborate with stakeholders to ensure appropriate implementation of the Supplier Risk Management Framework
- To oversee and manage supplier risk across multiple risk domains (regulatory, operational, financial, contractual, etc.)
- To influence the supplier risk management approach and strategy, driving the delivery of responsible business commitments and supplier standards
- To provide best practice guidance and support to enable effective oversight and management of key suppliers
- Expertise in supplier relationship management and supplier-related risk
- Able to develop and implement supplier risk management plans
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change
- Proficient in data analytics and reporting
