**Job Summary**

The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating risk management practices, building risk capability, and collaborating with internal stakeholders across various risk management activities. Key responsibilities include:

- Developing targeted training programs to enhance risk awareness and competence
- Supporting the business in refining their risk profiles to reflect the current risk environment
- Maintaining and enhancing the ongoing management of our business continuity framework
- Creating risk reports for key stakeholders, including board members and committees
- Establishing trusted relationships and networks as a risk advisor
- Partnering with internal stakeholders in a collaborative and approachable manner
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our risk management framework, processes, and culture.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in a similar position, with a solid understanding of risk principles. You should have a natural ability to engage with stakeholders and facilitate workshops to increase risk awareness across the organisation. Your background should demonstrate:

- Extensive experience within a risk management role in a complex or regulated environment
- Expertise in maturing risk management approaches throughout the lifecycle of projects
- Ability to develop or refine frameworks to address changes in the regulatory environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across the business
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to be proactive
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to translate complex risk concepts to internal stakeholders

You will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Governance, or other relevant area, or equivalent experience. Ideally, you will have experience in a government setting or a highly regulated environment. Experience in IT or project management is desirable.
