We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team in Newcastle. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and strategy to deliver practical and fit-for-purpose risk management and business continuity programs.
To succeed in this position, you should possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, and have a background demonstrating experience in a similar senior risk role within a corporate services environment.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent critical thinking skills, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to develop and deliver an annual risk management plan. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify, evaluate, manage, monitor and report risks that impact the delivery of our strategic programs and operations.
This position reports to the General Manager Risk, Governance and Assurance and plays a key role in uplifting the risk management culture through increased awareness, staff engagement and accountability. The successful applicant will enjoy working in a collaborative environment, supporting Australian industry and contributing to individuals' economic and social wellbeing.
