Compliance and Risk Management Executive

Drive a robust risk culture by overseeing internal processes and procedures, providing expert advice to the leadership team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage compliance risks across the organization, including AML/CTF, AFSL, ACL, and CAANZ regulations.
  2. Deliver training and support on risk and compliance matters.
  3. Monitor incidents, breaches, and complaints, embedding controls in collaboration with the leadership team.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Offer guidance on legislative and regulatory changes impacting the organization's compliance obligations.
  6. Review and approve marketing materials and external communications to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Tertiary degree qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Compliance-based position in the financial services industry.
  3. Experience with AML/CTF, AFSL, and ACL licensing requirements is highly regarded.
  4. Experience working with ASIC is highly valued.
