Dumpling King Cafe Restaurant Leadership Role

Located in a bustling area, Dumpling King Cafe Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working in a Chinese cuisine restaurant or similar environment. Knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine and an understanding of Chinese food culture is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary package based on skills & experience. The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $100,000. Benefits include opportunities for career growth and development within a growing company.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth, efficient restaurant operations and delivering outstanding service.
  • Lead, mentor, and train staff, ensuring they adhere to service and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and coordinate ordering to ensure restaurant readiness.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability to support business objectives.
  • Develop staff rosters and manage labor costs, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Work with the kitchen team to refine and enhance menu offerings, ensuring authenticity and quality.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Chinese cuisine restaurant or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine and an understanding of Chinese food culture is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable.
  • Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Proven experience managing a team of six or more.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
