Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and uphold our standards of service excellence. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth, efficient restaurant operations, delivering outstanding service to our customers.
  • Staff Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train staff, ensuring they adhere to service and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate ordering to ensure the restaurant's readiness.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe, compliant work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability to support business objectives.
  • Roster Management: Develop staff rosters and manage labor costs, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Menu Development: Work with the kitchen team to refine and enhance menu offerings, ensuring authenticity and quality.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Chinese cuisine restaurant or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine and an understanding of Chinese food culture is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable.
  • Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Proven experience managing a team of six or more.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency.
