People and Culture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a People and Culture Business Partner. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and strengthening our workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and supporting strategic business goals.
This role will act as a key contact for the organization, dealing with day-to-day and operational matters. You will contribute to the ongoing development of our People and Culture foundations and lead initiatives across employee relations and broader People and Culture programs that reflect our values and support our brand and growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:- To deliver and enhance People and Culture initiatives such as engagement surveys, performance reviews, remuneration cycles, and onboarding.
- To provide training and support to managers, ensuring consistency and quality across key people processes.
- To champion the development of relevant, fit-for-purpose processes and procedures to assist managers in people management.
- To act as a trusted advisor by partnering with managers and collaborating with leaders on development and succession plans.
- To identify and manage People and Culture risks and compliance issues.
- To facilitate payroll processing for TripADeal.
- To play a key part in broader P&C team responsibilities including Talent Acquisition, Events & Office Management.
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration or similar.
- A minimum of 7 plus years experience operating as a People and Culture Business Partner or equivalent.
- Proven Human Resource experience ideally in a scale up environment, with exposure to corporate organisations, as a Business Partner level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian employment legislation and National Employment Standards.
- Preferred experience with systems including Workday, Employment Hero & Scout Talent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail.
- A warm, approachable, pragmatic and supportive style, with confidence to liaise with all levels of the organization.
