**About the Role**:
***The People & Culture division at CDC is looking for a dynamic, passionate and self-motivated **People & Culture Business Partner **to join their team in the Central Coast / Hunter Valley region.

Our greatest strength is our people, and we value their contribution to our success. To further our growth, we are looking for a dynamic People & Culture Specialist to join our team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support and manage change programs and transitions, including downsizing, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Develop and execute strategies for workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development.
- Providing managers and leaders with guidance and coaching support to enable them to better manage employee queries and grievances.
- Partner closely with managers to execute the people strategy and to follow policies and procedures
- Lead conversations around talent management, succession planning and team engagement
- Participate in and lead various HR projects. Facilitate and lead projects relating to organizational change and transformation
- Provide ongoing coaching, training and support to managers
- Assist with remuneration matters.
- Conduct periodic reviews/develop new policies and guidelines to ensure all statutory obligations are met
- Assist with recruitment where required, including onboarding processes
- Identifying areas of improvement related to human resources.
- Serve as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues.

**Qualification and accreditations**:

- Previous experience and knowledge of HR management processes within a commercial and industrial environment
- Sound level of knowledge in the provision of advice on Industrial Relations issues
- Demonstrated experience/exposure interacting with unions will be highly regarded
- Ability to quickly get up to speed interpreting Awards and Agreements
- Ability to analyse and resolve problems alongside the ability to think strategically
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Positive attitude and strong desire to learn and develop
- Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint experience
