About the Role:

Linfox Intermodal is seeking a National Manager to lead our APG Express Network, based in West Melbourne. In this position, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable services for one of our key customers. Key areas include:

  • Ensuring Vision Zero is a daily focus within the operation, with safety at the forefront of everyone's mind.
  • Achieving agreed Safety goals, aligned with Intermodals Safety strategy and specific annual Site Safety Plans.
  • Working strategically with the customer to identify new or expanded opportunities to grow our share of wallet through provision of service excellence and collaboration in go-to-market activities.
  • Providing customer service excellence in all aspects of the operation and offering high standards of integrity in service offerings, administration, and communication to customers.
  • Communicating Intermodal's strategic priorities, ensuring the team is clear on how this translates to individual roles and teams.
  • Complying with Linfox requirements, policies, and procedures at all times, including the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience in Transport operations environment and/or transport network planning environment.
  • Significant experience in Leading Change and driving strategic goals.
  • Operational experience, with significant knowledge of transport processes, compliance, and planning with demonstrable application of this knowledge.
  • A strong understanding of transportation technology and optimisation tools to drive outcomes across the logistics and supply chain space.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the transport industry, transport equipment, and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain and transport optimisation and modelling/consulting methodologies with strong presentation and executive-level communication experience.
  • Extremely strong understanding of transport operations and leading transition to leading or best practice end-to-end transport solutions, including last-mile route optimisation.
  • Highly advanced Excel skills, data analytics tools, and good competency in general business software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
