TAFE Network Strategic Director

The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions seeks a highly skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD). As the strategic director of the TAFE network, you will be responsible for providing operational guidance to the network, ensuring alignment with government expectations and requirements.

You will also promote and advocate TAFE as a priority for the government, utilizing your influence and negotiation skills.

About the TAFE Network
The OTCD plays a pivotal role in providing system leadership and oversight for the TAFE Network across Victoria. You will oversee the management of the OTCD's operational accountabilities, aligning strategy, budget, business planning, and reporting with the Department's overall policy and delivery priorities.
Your Key Responsibilities

* Engage in stakeholder negotiations to achieve mutually accepted policy outcomes that drive quality
* Communicate with diverse audiences and identify common issues among stakeholders to foster mutually beneficial partnerships that maximize outcomes
* Promote and advocate TAFE as a priority for the government, utilizing your influence and negotiation skills
What You Need To Succeed
We are looking for an experienced leader who can drive service delivery planning from a whole-of-state perspective with a strong focus on deep network cooperation. You will have a strong understanding of the education sector and experience in leading complex projects. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders. You will also have a proven track record of driving quality outcomes and promoting organizational excellence.
Salary Range
$290,601 - $419,000
