Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Disability Employment Consultant. As part of this role, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with disabilities, injuries, or ongoing health conditions to build their skills, experience, and confidence, and supporting them in finding meaningful employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Determine the relevant service and support requirements of your jobseeker
  2. Collaborate with local employers to understand their workforce needs and match your jobseekers to the right job
  3. Manage a caseload of jobseekers focusing on securing employment through one-on-one appointments and delivering small group workshops
  4. Coach and guide jobseekers to achieve progression towards and into employment by developing job plans
  5. Conduct reverse marketing activities to find job opportunities that match your jobseekers' skills and abilities
Requirements:
  • Experience delivering high levels of customer service
  • Ability to achieve quality outcomes
  • Ability to engage with the local community to build strong networks
  • Desired but not essential: experience in case management, knowledge of Disability Employment Services/job active
  • Must hold a current driver's licence, national police check, COVID vaccination certificate, working with children check, and NDIS worker screening, or be willing to obtain
