Disability Employment Role:

We are seeking a customer-focused professional to assist individuals with disabilities into employment.

This full-time, fixed-term position involves assessing clients' strengths and barriers to employment, implementing tailored job plans, and progressing them toward and into employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing clients' strengths and barriers to employment
  • Implementing tailored job plans to assist clients into employment
  • Progressing clients toward and into employment
  • Exploring and conducting reverse marketing based on clients' skills and advocating for their placement
  • Placing and supporting clients into employment
  • Undertaking post-placement and ongoing support activities with employers and clients

Requirements:

  • High level of assessment and case management skills
  • Ability to market and advocate for clients
  • Understanding of the National Standards for Disability Services
  • Belief and passion that everyone has the right to work
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients through assessment and preparation to achieve a job-ready status. A current driver's licence, national police check, and relevant State/Territory working with children check or willingness to obtain are required.
