The Financial Services division collaborates with various areas of the bank to offer specialized advice, support, and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy, and investor relations.

Within Financial Services, the Group Financial Reporting & Analysis team provides critical financial support to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and Board. The team's key areas of focus include:

  • Investment Reporting & Analysis - supporting the Group with reporting and analysis on strategic investments, informing strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Performance Reporting - delivering performance analysis, monthly management reports for the Group, and Profit Announcement reporting to shareholders.
  • Planning and Forecasting - overseeing the Group's Planning & Forecasting process, conducting strategic and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Decision Support - driving strategic projects, insight development, and ad-hoc analysis.

This role is crucial in helping deliver the strategic agenda for FR&A, ensuring that financial information is accurate, timely, and actionable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monthly investment spend reporting, including key business metrics and insights for senior management.
  • Ad-hoc analysis of project delivery workforce allocation, focusing on optimization.
  • Assisting in preparing external results reporting on the investment portfolio.
  • Reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment portfolio and resources.
  • Supporting the preparation of Annual Operating Plans and Quarterly Business Review memos.
  • Implementing process improvements and automation to streamline work.
  • Providing independent reviews of strategic equity investments and advising the Group CFO.
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the organization, requiring excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Presenting to Finance Working Group and other senior stakeholders.
  • Oversight of operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the Investment Reporting and Analysis team, while contributing to long-term value creation for the Group.
  • Leading a team of two direct reports.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to draw insights from analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis, as well as strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Transaction services/valuations experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to drive results.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Tableau and Alteryx skills are advantageous but not necessary.
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualification and Big 4 background preferred, with advanced MS Excel skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
