Job Role Overview:

Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

This role plays a crucial part in the success of our operations and service projects. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to service teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of education or relevant work experience in an EHS related field. They must also possess strong communication skills and be able to engage diverse audiences on EHS matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide EHS compliance guidance and project coordination support to service teams
  • Support incident management process for internal reporting, investigations, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of near miss and incidents
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote a workplace incident-free environment
  • Assist with EHS data management, analysis, and interpretation
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Over 4 years of formal education in EHS related field or relevant work experience
  • EHS experience in oil and gas industry or similar high standard industry, particularly in shutdown projects
  • Proven ability to conduct safety inductions, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences on EHS matters
