The role of Health, Safety and Environment Advisor is available for a professional with expertise in complex and high-risk environments.
About the PositionThis opportunity requires close collaboration with Program Managers supporting ADF Ground Support Equipment and Counter-CBRNE contracts. The successful candidate will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and audit activities where precision and resilience are crucial.
Key Responsibilities- Developing tailored HSE protocols for specialized operational contexts.
- Supporting Program Managers to facilitate ADF Ground Support Equipment and Counter-CBRNE contracts.
- Leading risk assessments, incident investigations, and audit activities.
- Providing advisory services on HSE considerations throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Australian citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- AQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Risk Management, or transferable engineering-related qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within Defence or high-risk industries.
- Strong understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
