Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

Deliver Health, Safety and Environmental services to enhance regional energy security and stability within the power grid. As a pivotal role in Australia's transition to net-zero emissions, this position plays a crucial part in implementing a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
- Develop and implement HSE plans to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct risk assessments specific to the BESS project and promote a culture of Zero Harm among project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HSE advice to achieve project and corporate objectives while supporting a culture of Zero Harm.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to develop and deliver training programs enhancing HSE knowledge and awareness.
- Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional experience with recognized expertise in HSE management.
- Accreditation to conduct audits within an industrial workplace.
- Degree or diploma in occupational health & safety.
