As a key contributor to our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and maintaining the highest level of safety standards.

We seek an experienced Laboratory Technician to join us on a permanent full-time basis in Victoria. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting soil tests according to Australian Standards and laboratory procedures
  • Preparing samples for testing and calibrating laboratory equipment as needed
  • Supervising and testing Level 1 earthworks projects
  • Liaising with technical staff regarding customer requirements and complaints
  • Maintaining the laboratory's safety standards and adhering to accreditation requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Level 3 certification from NATA CMT document
  • A manual light vehicle license and nuclear density gauge use license
  • White card or equivalent and AS1289 testing experience
