Professional Laboratory Specialist Position

Job Title:
Laboratory Specialist. An accomplished professional in chemical analysis, sample preparation and testing. Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sampling, preparation, testing and analysis of chemical, microbial samples and raw materials
- Communicate accurate test results to stakeholders via verbal and written means
- Operate, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as required
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field is ideal
- Previous laboratory experience and strong analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills, report writing, presentation and time management
- Strong interpersonal, communication and initiative skills
