Job Title: Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team. This role will involve conducting various laboratory tests on construction materials, ensuring they meet specified standards and contributing to the overall success and safety of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials, including soil, concrete, and asphalt, in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Accurately record and report test results, maintaining comprehensive documentation of laboratory activities.
  • Adhere to and promote laboratory safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • An Associate degree or equivalent certification in Laboratory Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a laboratory or construction materials testing role.
  • Familiarity with relevant laboratory equipment and testing methods.
  • Driver's Licence and White Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a laboratory role within the construction industry, preferably in tunnelling projects.
  • Proficiency in conducting tests on construction materials such as soil, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
