Lead Laboratory Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Operations Manager to lead our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a strong background in scientific, medical or pathology fields and be able to manage a high-performing team.
This is a permanent full-time position that requires on-site work, but we offer flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
- Lead laboratory operations and ensure efficient delivery of testing services
- Develop and implement operational plans to meet business objectives and quality standards
- Maintain financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control
- Foster a collaborative work environment and inspire staff for continuous improvement
- Communicate complex information clearly and confidently to various audiences
- Manage multidisciplinary scientific services with senior-level expertise
- Ensure quality systems, risk management and compliance are maintained
- Emphasize employee wellbeing and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment
- Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Laboratory Management or Biomedical Science
