Business Development Role Overview

As part of our Sales & Business Development team, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth across Victoria. This involves building genuine connections with customers, spotting new opportunities, and creating tailored solutions that make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the Victorian EV charging market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Deliver tailored proposals and presentations to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and market trends.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and reporting in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment and contribute to continual improvement in quality and performance by complying with all relevant policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally in technology, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Ability to develop and close new business.
  • Strong understanding of solution selling and complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of the EV charging industry and/or sustainability sector preferred.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Victoria.
