Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Professional to provide person-centred support to customers in Sydney.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with daily living activities such as personal care, manual handling, transportation, and medication administration. They will also promote customers' independence and participation in the community by providing support in maintaining an exceptional quality of life, underpinned by our core values of respect, working together, innovative thinking, and honesty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting customers with daily living activities such as personal care, manual handling, transportation, and medication administration
  • Providing support to customers in maintaining an exceptional quality of life
  • Preserving the decency and privacy of customers while assisting with personal care and personal administration
  • Utilising effective communication skills when interacting with customers, colleagues, supervisors, and stakeholders
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a current First Aid Certificate, and an unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence. They will also possess strong computer literacy skills and be able to work within our value-based framework upholding our core values.
