Care Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to our clients, assisting them with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each individual are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing assistance with personal care and hygiene needs
  • Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assisting with manual handling and transfers
  • Using assistive technology to support daily living activities
  • Social support and companionship
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in disability or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification
  • Valid NSW driver's license
