Empowering Lives Disability Support

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement training and support programs that enhance the skills and independence of people with disabilities.
You will work closely with clients, families/carers, case managers, and other professionals to identify and address individual needs. This may involve providing direct care assistance, supporting clients in age-appropriate activities, and contributing to the development of behaviour programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting clients in achieving their goals and improving their wellbeing
- Developing and implementing training and support programs
- Working collaboratively with clients, families/carers, case managers, and other professionals
- Contributing to the development of behaviour programs
To succeed in this role, you must be adaptable, able to prioritise tasks, and committed to social and inclusive values. You must also adhere to our policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and communication.
