Oversee Daily Operations of Residential Aged Care Facility

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of this small to medium sized residential aged care home located in a picturesque East/South-East area of Melbourne. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care and support.

  • Manage day-to-day activities and ensure smooth operation of the facility\
  • Supervise and coordinate with staff members to achieve desired outcomes\
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans\
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders\
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices\
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of respect, empathy, and excellence\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required\
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge\

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, social work, business) or equivalent experience\
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a senior leadership role within aged care or a related field\
  • Proven track record of successful leadership, strategic planning, and team collaboration\
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills\
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently\
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy\
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)\
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation\
