Industry Placement Coordinator

This role involves leading the coordination and administration of Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) placements for students within the Engineering and Built Environment sectors.

Key responsibilities include ensuring placements meet accreditation and course requirements, supporting strategic industry engagement, and contributing to streamlined placement processes across the college.

  • Lead the identification and cultivation of partnerships with industry, government, and community organisations that support meaningful WIL placements.
  • Provide high-level support and advice to academic staff on placement design, simulated WIL activities, and industry engagement activities.
  • Coordinate the sourcing and allocation of WIL placements for students in the college of Sport, Health and Engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working within the Engineering and Built Environment Industries.
  • An ability to review and refine administrative processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
