About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Strategic Talent Sourcing to join our team at Greater Western Water Limited. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our future workforce through strategic talent acquisition and management.

Job Description
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent sourcing strategy to deliver best practice talent solutions, including identification, attraction, and acquisition.
  • Oversight of the entire recruitment lifecycle to ensure an exceptional candidate experience, driving the attraction, acquisition, and retention of top talent.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing Talent Acquisition Team to provide exceptional sourcing services, leveraging their skills and expertise to drive business outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying efficiency opportunities, and developing processes to streamline recruitment activities, ensuring an efficient and effective approach.
  • Management of State Purchasing Contract panel agency arrangements, collaborating with Procurement to ensure alignment and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Management of Contingent Workforce governance processes, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in driving efficiency and continuous improvement in a talent acquisition leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in developing and enforcing guidelines on contingent workforce cost management, with prior exposure to Purchasing Contract panels advantageous.
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and best practices.
  • Ability to build and cultivate an innovative culture within an operational context.
  • Experience in delivering continuous improvements in operational functions, driving efficiency and automation.
  • Effective leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills, with a background in leading people through change or transformation.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, alongside exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
