**About the Role**:
Procurement Specialist (IT) is to provide strategic procurement support to enable the University and the Campus & Digital Services function to achieve the Digital Master Plan. The role will source a range of indirect categories, whilst ensuring integrity in procurement processes, and enabling the organisation to deliver on its financial, social and environmental sustainability initiatives. The Procurement Specialists are also responsible for managing a number of supply and service contracts.

**This is a full time continuing position at a HEP 8 classification level with the salary range starting from $106,346 per annum working 36.75 hours per week.**

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

- Provide high quality and timely strategic procurement support and advice to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain internal stakeholder relationships, delivering solutions that appreciate stakeholders operations.
- Lead, develop and facilitate the implementation of procurement strategies and plans for assigned categories and ensure initiatives are aligned with the University’s overall strategic plan and direction.
- Manage tender processes of varying complexity and spend categories, using established systems and processes.
- Prepare business cases, specifications, financial analysis, tender documentation and recommendation reports.
- Lead and build internal responsibility, accountability and capability in management of contracts, and supplier performance.

**About You**:
You will be a highly driven individual, with prior experience in running end to end sourcing projects. Managing a program of complex sourcing projects will be a challenge but rewarding as you bring value, collaboration, and procurement compliance together. You will have an influential and genuine communication style, which as a business partner you will use to your advantage in building trusting and respected relationships with your clients.
