**The opportunity**

Great opportunity to grow your procurement sourcing expertise, providing advice, coaching, support and oversight of end-to-end sourcing

across GWW’s key spend categories - construction, goods and services. You will be a key contributor in ensuring business needs are met and that GWW meets it regulatory compliance obligations and maintains financial viability.

Typically, you will be involved in the complex sourcing activities based on value, stakeholder engagement and the type of goods and services whilst providing advice for lower value activities and/or building a self-service experience.

**Responsibilities**
- You will manage complex sourcing events ensuring we are compliant with the GWW Procurement Policy, VGPB guidelines and Ministerial Directions.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from the sourcing plan through to contract execution.
- Provide procurement advice for lower value activities to business users and improve the self-service experience.
- Minimise risks, through ensuring process compliance is maintained by all stakeholders.

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement practices.
- Advanced sourcing knowledge to optimise business performance and mitigate risks.
- Confidence in presenting your findings and recommendations to the internal audience.
- Ability to think resourcefully to maximise value.
- Analytical expertise with robust critical reasoning.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment, across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Understanding and/or experience in Victorian Government Procurement is highly desirable.
