Strategic Content Director

As a key member of Victoria University’s Brand & Marketing team, you will spearhead the development, implementation, reporting, and optimisation of multi-channel content across owned channels, captivating our target audience and elevating the University’s brand and reputation.
The primary focus will be to drive brand awareness, enhance reputation, and boost student recruitment for Victoria University. The team achieves this by producing high-quality marketing activities and campaigns throughout the year across all channels, including an integrated lead generation and lead nurture marketing automation program.
This is a full-time position at a HEP 8 classification, salary range $106,346 - $119,760 plus 17% superannuation, classification working 36.75 (1.0 FTE) hours per week. This role is offered as a continuing contract.
Duties:
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with Victoria University’s marketing goals to engage our target audience effectively.
- Create compelling external-facing content to boost VU’s brand visibility and reputation among prospective students, aligning closely with strategic objectives.
- Provide strategic communication guidance, training, and stakeholder management to foster team cohesion and ensure alignment with University strategies for effective execution.
- Manage content production across multiple platforms, ensuring content is tailored to diverse audience needs and achieves strategic communication goals.
