Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate level courses in policy and politics, including lectures, tutorials, and workshops;
  • Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of students and industry partners;
  • Conduct research in policy and politics, publishing in top-tier journals and presenting at conferences;
  • Supervise HDR students and contribute to the development of new courses and programs;
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the faculty to achieve strategic objectives and drive innovation;
  • Engage in meaningful research projects that drive social change and address real-world problems.
Required Qualifications
  • PhD in Political Science or a related field;
  • Experience teaching undergraduate level courses in policy and politics;
  • Record of quality research and scholarly publications in fields relevant to policy and politics;
  • Demonstrated awareness of contemporary global trends in policy and politics and ability to embed innovative approaches to learning and teaching;
  • Proven ability to contribute to a high-performance culture, with a demonstrated commitment to collegiality;
  • Capability of supervising HDR students;
  • Record of, or capacity to, contribute to administration in a University or professional setting and to interact within these settings.
