As a Deputy Principal, you will play a pivotal part in leading our school community towards excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational efficiency within the school environment.
  • Lead a secondary school student cohort and develop strong relationships between staff, students, and parents to enhance engagement and promote positive learning outcomes.
  • Empower students to experience academic success by implementing inclusive practices that enable access, participation, purposeful engagement, and yearly growth in learning.
  • Develop teacher and leader capability through collaborative and strategic focus.
  • Assist the Principal in shaping the school community's educational vision, focused on quality learning outcomes.
  • Provide coverage for the Principal when required.
  • Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Form partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.
  • Demonstrate foresight and strategic thinking.
