Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case management and caseload management
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
  • Working across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
  • Assisting clients to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
  • Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents
Requirements
  • A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy
  • Registration with either AHPRA or ASORC or ESSA or AASW or relevant governing body
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • A current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
