Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Albany, WA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client caseloads and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Collaborate with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct assessments and provide clinical expertise to support treatment plans and address psychosocial barriers to employment.
  • Work across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients to achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with relevant governing bodies, such as AHPRA or ASORC.
  • Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation or a related field is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and stakeholders.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
