Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Albany, WA. This role is available on a part-time or casual basis and is ideal for new graduates or experienced professionals looking for a challenging and rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management - You'll work with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants to provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions.
  • Return to Work Outcomes - You'll apply your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes and work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Collaboration - You'll collaborate with injured workers, employers, and health professionals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Assessments - You'll complete a variety of assessments using your clinical skills to support clients in achieving their goals.

Requirements

  • Qualifications - You'll need a qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy and registration with the relevant governing body.
  • Experience - Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Skills - You'll need excellent communication skills, compassion, empathy, and well-developed time management skills.
  • Driver's License - You'll need a current valid driver's license and access to a car with comprehensive insurance.
