About the Client:

Randstad is a leading provider of innovative staffing solutions, dedicated to helping businesses thrive in the accounting software industry. Recognized for fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment, they are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join their marketing team.

Job Summary:

The successful Events Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing both in-person and virtual events, utilizing platforms like ON24. This role will play a critical part in supporting the company's marketing initiatives by creating engaging events that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Event Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design event strategies aligned with the company's marketing goals and objectives.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Oversee all aspects of events, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and on-site execution.
  • Virtual and In-Person Training Events: Manage training sessions, working closely with trainers and moderating discussions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Event Evaluation: Analyze data and metrics to assess event success and refine future strategies.
  • Industry Trends: Stay informed on the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working across time zones and managing external agencies.
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms such as ON24.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
