Strategic Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Professional to join our team at Transurban. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in business analysis and process improvement to drive strategic growth and innovation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis, operational efficiencies, process design, and improvement across all phases of the systems development life cycle. Proficiency in leading ERP solutions such as Workday HCM, Finance modules, payroll systems, SAP, and PeopleSoft is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather requirements from stakeholders across various departments, including People & Culture, Payroll, Procurement, Finance, and Security teams, and present 'As-Is' and 'To-be' business processes.
- Spearhead project delivery with confidence, engaging in requirements elicitation, current state analysis, workshop facilitation, and supporting key project activities.
- Collaborate with the team conducting UAT processes, providing design and coordination support.
- Support system projects and provide business analysis with business stakeholders, end users, technical SMEs, and ERP support teams.
- Play a pivotal role in change management and transition to operations, ensuring end-user adoption of new tools, systems, and business processes.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- A proven track record in project and/or BAU business improvement delivery experience in a business analyst role.
- Extensive experience in business analysis, operational efficiencies, process design, and improvement, across all phases of the systems development life cycle.
- Strong analytical self-starter skills with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Agile project delivery methodology proficiency, with flexibility to support various team needs beyond traditional BA tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to switch between supporting operational and continuous improvement teams, as well as strategic ERP projects.
