We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Development Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in simplifying complex business data, conducting analyses, and providing clear recommendations to support decision-making.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with executive leadership on high-impact projects in the region, driving business growth and development.

About the Role:

  • Simplify complex business data by collecting quantitative and qualitative information, conducting analyses, and providing clear recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate in annual planning, ensuring timely consideration of market trends, customer needs, and global benchmarks, and work cross-functionally with teams to define concrete business development objectives for multi-year strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information is available to all employees, leveraging existing data for informed decision-making and new opportunities.
  • Foster collaboration with key stakeholders to establish specific objectives within the strategic plan.
  • Evaluate the organization's current capabilities and processes, pinpointing critical issues and gaps necessary for successful implementation of the organization's initiatives.

About You:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a global strategy consulting firm or a mix of management consulting and industry experience.
  • Must have experience working on energy transition mandates, such as renewables, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, etc.
  • Strong skills in strategic intelligence, business planning, financial valuation, or modelling.
  • Highly motivated and driven, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Ability to interact and engage with the C-level management and executive leadership team.
