Strategic Business Development Lead

As a Strategic Business Development Lead at KPMG, you will play a critical role in supporting the Partners in Charge (PICs) in their decision-making process. With your deep understanding of our business, Technology and Learning (T&L), and firm operations, you will provide valuable insights to help PICs drive business excellence, data-driven performance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in financial and operational matters through regular reporting and analysis. This includes providing actionable insights on utilisation, realisation, profitability, forecasting & revenue, performance, and National Service Centre (NSC) adoption.
- Analyse and improve financial hygiene by reviewing overheads, realisation rates, expenses management, debtor provisions, and other key metrics.
- Contribute to annual business planning, including budget setting, timetabling of key events, and coordination of firm-wide activities.
- Support the execution of Technology and Learning and firm-wide strategy.
- Maintain SAP, including Timesheet and expense approvers, coordination of service line presentations, and monthly performance packs for PICs.
About You:
- You have a solid understanding of various reporting requirements for the Executive Team, including forecasting & revenue analysis, performance reporting, overheads analysis, realisation rate reviews, and more.
- You possess strong communication skills and can coordinate various enablement functions to support operational effectiveness.
- You have the ability to organise and project manage to deliver and execute projects and new firm-wide transformations.
What We Offer:
As a Strategic Business Development Lead at KPMG, you can expect a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
