About the Lockout-Tagout Role

The Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety by managing the LOTO program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective LOTO procedures for equipment and create switching orders when applicable.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of all site LOTO-related activities.
  • Coordinate site LOTO-related activities with all parties, including training sessions on LOTO procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.
  • Promptly address any safety concerns by reporting them to management or designated delegates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in developing and implementing lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication and training skills with the ability to influence others to prioritize safety.

Site Conditions

  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • Camp accommodation is provided.
