
Senior Safety Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member of our safety management system, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our employees and contractors.
You will work closely with various teams to support the implementation of our Health and Safety Management System. From guiding behavioural safety initiatives to assisting with incident investigations and risk management processes, you will be responsible for identifying trends and driving data-informed decisions.
This role requires regular travel to our sites across NSW, VIC and SA. Relocation assistance is available.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Health & Safety and at least 5 years of relevant experience. You will also possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and a proactive, adaptable mindset.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- ICAM lead investigation qualifications
- Safety Management System auditing expertise
- Risk management expertise, including experience with fatality prevention and project management systems
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
