Health and Safety Manager Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Health and Safety Manager, where you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of our Health and Management System.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to teams and contractors to embed health and safety practices into their daily operations.
  • Behavioural Safety Programs: Lead and support the implementation of behavioural safety programs, ensuring quality action outcomes.
  • Incident Investigation: Support thorough incident investigations and assist in developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse incident data, identify trends, and develop proactive safety initiatives.
  • Safety Training: Deliver safety training sessions, including behavioural safety and risk management fundamentals.
  • Risk Management Tools: Support the use of risk management tools, including Start Cards, SWMS, Risk Assessments, and Safety Critical Procedures.
  • Fatality Prevention: Assist with the rollout of fatality prevention and process safety programs.
  • Audit and Review: Conduct safety audits, reviews, and provide actionable feedback to enhance safety systems and practices.

You will work closely with various teams and be based out of Cooma office, requiring regular travel to sites across NSW, VIC, and SA. Relocation assistance is available.
