Cybersecurity Consultant

About the Role
The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for Proofpoint's Information Protection Platform, including Insider Threat Management, Email DLP, Endpoint DLP, and Cloud Application Security Broker. This individual will develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Scope engagements through assessing client operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations for improvements to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
- Provide solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data and people.
- Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
- Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years consulting experience, preferably in Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security, or Cloud Security.
- Preferred experience with Windows Server and web infrastructure, as well as Linux infrastructure.
- Preferred background with Microsoft or Symantec DLP.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining consulting best practices.
