We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Territory Manager in Sydney. This key position is responsible for shaping and executing business plans to achieve sales revenue and market share targets.

The Aortic and Endovenous sector is one of the fastest-growing areas within Medtronic's vascular portfolio, treating patients with a broad range of conditions, including Thoracic and Abdominal Aortic disease, Superficial and Deep Venous Disease.

A Day in The Life

As a Territory Manager, you will report into the Regional Sales Manager and be accountable for achieving sales revenue targets for the Southern NSW territory. You will provide complete account management within that territory and practice professional and effective territory management.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Achieving sales revenue and market share targets by promoting our range of Aortic and Endovascular Health products and clinical service to vascular surgeons and phlebologists.
- Understanding the clinical and service needs of customers and providing highest level of clinical service and technical support while seeking out efficiency
- Providing best in class clinical case support to optimise clinical outcomes for each procedure
- Being well organised and practicing good territory management of inventory, case support calendar, administration and expenses
- Training appropriate medical staff on case planning, product preparation, product deployment and procedure steps.
- Collaborating with other Clinical Territory Managers, Clinical Specialists, Market Development Specialists, Business Development Managers, Business Manager and Marketing to develop and execute business plans
- Playing a lead role in quarterly business reviews (QBR's) for your specified territory and actively contributing to the broader state QBR
- Building an awareness and accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leveraging relationships to execute on account strategies
- Pro-actively managing case coverage requirements, effectively engaging CSs and other CTMs where most appropriate
- Supporting sales activities by assisting in presentations to healthcare professionals on related educational and training topics
- Consistently setting and meeting quarterly performance goals
- Monitoring field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
- Completing cycle counts of all required field locations on time and following up on any missing stock
- Retrieving all expiring product from field locations and returning to the warehouse prior to expiry
- Travel requirement: less than 25%

Must-Haves

- Bachelors Degree in nursing, general science, business or similar
- Strong clinical sales experience with aortic and endovascular devices &/or in Orthopaedic, Neurovascular and Trauma
- Proven clinical setting experience in hybrid suites, angio lab and operating theatres is desirable
- Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge including clinical papers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting
- Advanced understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/theatres/departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling and key influencers
- Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software. Maintain a valid driver's licence
