Overview

We're seeking a commercially savvy and strategic Regional Manager to lead the ANZ region for a portfolio of premium beer brands. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with New Zealand distributors and take full ownership of driving growth across key channels in Australia including major national retailers (EDG, Coles), as well as the independent and on-premise trade. Reporting directly to the global MEO, you'll act as the forefront and face of the brands across Australia and New Zealand.

Compensation

Base pay range: A$150,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the sales strategy across Australia and New Zealand to drive sustainable growth.
  • Build and manage high-value customer relationships, including EDG, Coles, and key independent and on-premise partners.
  • Develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and annual business strategies tailored to each market.
  • Oversee distributor relationships and lead the execution of trade marketing programs across ANZ.
  • Drive range reviews, pricing strategies, planogram development, and contract negotiations.
  • Leverage category, shopper, and sales data to deliver insights and improve performance.
  • Lead, support, and mentor Brand Ambassadors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on NPD, product launches, brand campaigns, and trade activations.
  • Manage the full P&L for the region, including trade spend and A&P allocation.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven leadership experience in sales within the beer, wine, spirits, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering growth through strategic planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of both major national retail and independent channels.
  • Confidence working independently and managing remote, cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in pricing strategy, range planning, planograms, and category management.
  • Experience leading teams and aligning them with commercial goals.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret and act on insights and performance data.
  • A passion for premium beer and a genuine interest in being a hands-on national ambassador for the brand.

This role will suit a highly energised and motivated individual with a genuine passion for building partnerships with major national retail chains and a proven ability to lead, inspire, and drive performance—particularly across the majors and independent channels.
