Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Draft contracts, prepare employee change letters, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance documentation.
- Coordinate new starter processes, welcome packs, inductions, and exit checklists.
- Update and maintain HR systems with employee data, leave records, and reporting requirements.
- Post job ads, screen applications, schedule interviews, and liaise with hiring managers.
- Assist with scheduling training sessions, track attendance, and update the LMS.
- Support internal communications, wellbeing initiatives, and culture-building activities.
- Assist with implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures.
- Handle general enquiries as a first point of contact for employee queries and escalate where appropriate.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in HR coordination or administration, preferably in fast-paced or complex environments.
- Holding or working towards a qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (e.g., Cert IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree).
- Confidence with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, Microsoft Office).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-first mindset.
- A passion for building a career in HR and contributing to a positive employee experience.
