Dementia Advisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dementia Advisor to join our team. As a Dementia Advisor, you will be responsible for providing information and support to individuals living with dementia and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing information about dementia, available services, and resources
  • Developing individualized care plans that reflect the client's needs, goals, preferences, and promote independence
  • Equipping clients, families, and carers with the information they require to exercise autonomy and make informed decisions about their care and services

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Aged Care/Dementia Practice or equivalent qualification, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Experience providing support to, and advice about dementia to people living with dementia, their family and carers
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software
